There are so many diets out there that we often become very confused as to what to eat. As a believer in eating a healthy balance of a variety of foods, hence containing a varied source of nutrients, I highly recommend “The Mediterranean Diet” .
By following this way of eating we are allowing ourselves to enjoy a wide variety of foods and we can be creative in our choice of recipes and food preparation. It does not restrict us to the point of being miserable and also allows us to indulge in small pleasures such as a couple of squares of dark chocolate and/or the occasional glass of red wine.
We are so fortunate to have an abundance of food choices available to us. It is simply a matter of making wise choices and establishing healthy food habits. Let’s make food an enjoyable part of our life.
