Everyone is creative in one way or another; although some people are more aware of using their creative gifts. Allowing yourself the opportunity to explore your creativity can bring a great sense of satisfaction and peace within ourselves. When we find ourselves in a zone where we are unaware of time, we feel inspired and experience true contentment. If you know someone who has a hobby that they love, then consider giving them a gift where they can use these creative talents. My friend, Karen Fogarty has just sent me a wonderful image (in my post) of a bag that she made from the ball of cotton I gave her (purchased from my favourite shop Purl Soho in New York when I was there on holidays). I love the fact that she has produced such a wonderful product but also that she used her time and talents to do this. Not only will this be something that she can now use, but it also has an added benefit of being sustainable. Such a clever one! So, next time you are thinking of a gift, consider the passions of your friends and maybe you can give them a gift that will allow them to indulge their talents.
